About Me
- About Me: Howdy! I travel N. America full time playing music and loving people. That's it! That's my job. My blog is a happy mix of personal adventures, literary truth seeking and the occasional oddity thrown in just to mess with your mind. Shallow posers beware, everyone else, come on in!
Movies
- Favorite Movies: Films that make me think, are honest to the writer's vision and not full of filth. I'm a harsh animation critic and love a good story with tastefully done rendering. Love a good action flick too.
- Favorite Actors: Gregory Peck, Anthony Quinn, Clark Gable, Buddy Hackett, Bill Clinton and last but not least, Red Skelton.
- Favorite Genre: Comedy, War and Deep Thinking.
- Movie Quotes I say all the time: "Flippin' sweet!" From Napoleon Dynamite and "Thees are the Lard's Cheeps" from Nacho Libre.
- Movies I can watch over and over: Amazing Grace, The Greatest Game ever Played, Nacho Libre, Robots...
- Actor that would play me in a movie: Robin Williams
Music
- Favorite Artists: Coldplay, Kevin Prosch, Maire Brennan, Toby Mac, Randy Travis (gasp!), Charlie Daniels (gasp again!) and oh shucks; about a hundred more...
- Favorite Genre: They call it New Age Thrash Metal (just kidding) I like whatever suits my mood.
- Band I wish I was in: I'm in a band called Pneumati. We play semi professionally around the country in a ministry / coffee shop folk / worship role. I am glad to be right here, right now!
Books
- Favorite Books: I could list an endless trail of books here, but the problem is that when I want to remember names of books, I never can! I like deep stuff, not necessarily sad, but whether it be fiction or not I'm always looking for the subtleties in the plot that make a really great book. I am a ruthless editor and fortunately for you if your a writer, am not in a paid position in this capacity!
- Favorite Authors: My favorite author is Francis Schaefer. I love his deep thinking and clear analysis. For spiritual topics you can't beat Andrew Murray, Watchman Nee and Elizabeth Elliott. I also like Rick Joyner and Micheal Phillips.
- Favorite Genres: Non-fiction, stories of people who were underdogs and overcame, spiritual growth topics, sociology, history etc...
- Favorite Characters: The Spy
- Recent Reads: Experiencing the Depths of Jesus Christ by Madame Guyon, Discipline, the Glad surrender by Elizabeth Elliott.

@photogeek07 - Oops! I thought I replied to this! Awesome! How'd it go? I finally broke down and bought a DSLR, a Sony A300K. Love it! It takes awesome photos and is really intuitive to use. Almost all the old Minolta lenses work on it as well, which is really cool because some of them are very nice -
